Magellan Power Stand Alone Power System

Many remotely located organisations in Australia do not have access to a centralised electricity grid. Long transmission also makes the grid power unreliable and vulnerable to natural disasters. Diesel-powered generators are meanwhile inconvenient, noisy and damaging to the environment.

Magellan single- and three-phase Stand Alone Power Systems are designed to operate independently of the grid, maximising the use of renewable energy. The off-grid electricity generation system allows a house, community, business or farm to have its own renewable power.

The remote area power system consists of the following components: PV panels, a Magellan inverter/charger, lithium batteries and a diesel generator. All components have been chosen for their durability in the harsh conditions of the Western Australian outback.

The system can be used for a range of applications, including regional communities, rural homes, farms and mining camps.
