The Quake Global Q-Pro satellite data modem is a portable, self-contained global communication and navigation system. The small, rugged, environmentally sealed (IP67) module contains programmable features that allow developers and integrators to tailor their communications.
The standard device delivers two-way communication through the ORBCOMM or Iridium and terrestrial GSM networks. For location and navigational applications, the Q-Pro is equipped with a 50-channel GPS system.
The Quake Q-Pro incorporates an application programming interface allowing developers to use its functions to create customised onboard applications. Other features include options for inputs/outputs, added memory, CANbus and antenna detection.
The system offers a self-contained flexible solution designed for multiple applications. It can retrieve data automatically from remote sites and can be used to monitor and manage mobile assets such as trucks, ships and containers.
