Manx is a mid-range single board computer

Thursday, 17 September, 2009 | Supplied by: Unitronix Pty Ltd

The Manx is a mid-range SBC with an efficient AMD Geode LX 800 processor.

The computer is function and pin-out compatible with VersaLogic’s older PUMA_SBC and incorporates mid-range processing speed (500 MHz) with low power consumption (less than 5 W).

The ACPI suspend-to-RAM state feature reduces power draw to 0.2 W between active sessions.

The fanless design is available in both standard (0 to +60 °C) and extended (-40 to +85 °C) temperature versions. The low power consumption, compact design and soldered-on RAM make the device suitable for embedded computing applications in markets including defence, aerospace, medical equipment, and industrial automation.
