IEI Technology PC/104 single board computer

IEI Technology has released the PC/104 SBC featuring Atom D525 processor and DDR3 support. The dual-core processor provides an increased speed of 1.8 GHz and supports 800 MHz DDR3 memory.

Along with the release of the D525 series comes the PM-PV-N4551, a single-core Intel Atom N455 for a diverse range of field applications.

PC/104 is an embedded computer standard for applications requiring reliable data acquisition. The signal timing and voltage levels are identical to the ISA bus, with lower current requirements.

The computer allows modules to stack together like building blocks making it more rugged than typical PC bus connections.

The PM-PV-D5251 is a fanless PC/104 single board computer with Atom D525 and DDR3 support. The motherboard features an increased processor speed of 1.8 GHz with no bump in power consumption.

It supports 800 MHz DDR3 memory and a dual display solution via single channel 18-bit LVDS and VGA outputs. Key features include Intel LAN and UEFI BIOS architecture which supports over 2.2 TB of HDD storage on a 64-bit operating system.

SBCs with the dual-core Atom processor D525 also include One Key Recovery software that simplifies the system back-up and recovery process if there is a system failure. It can create full system backup on demand or system recovery by restoring to a previously made backup with a single click.

Features include: single 5 V power design, 12 V for LCD/fan; single-channel 18-bit LVDS/ VGA output for display support; support for two COM, four USB, SATA 3 Gbps and CF Type II socket.
