Backplane Systems Technology MI890 mini-ITX motherboard
The MI890, a mini-ITX motherboard that combines an onboard Intel Atom N455/D425/D525 processor with the Intel ICH8M chipset, provides low-power computing performance for kiosk, ATM, POS and industrial automation markets.
The board is available in different versions that support three different Intel Atom CPU types including N455, D425 and D525. Both the 1.80 GHz dual-core D525 and single-core D425 Atom models support up to 4 GB of DDR3-800 memory, while featuring 512 KB and 1 MB L2 cache.
The board is supplied with the chipset’s integrated graphics unit and display interfaces for CRT VGA and 18-bit single-channel LVDS displays.
Equipped with 4x serial ports, it also has two SATA II (3.0 Gbps) connectors, 2x gigabit ethernet, 8x USB ports and 1x CF Type II socket with additional expansion slots such as 1x PCI, 1x PCI-Express and a Mini PCI-Express port.
